The Pelsung programme, now approaching its third cohort graduation, has evolved significantly since its inception. Designed to align with His Majesty The King's vision, the programme offers a unique blend of innovation and professional readiness. In the first two cohorts, the emphasis was on nurturing creative solutions and developing entrepreneurial ideas that could contribute to GMC's growth.

However, the third cohort introduced a pivotal shift. The focus expanded to include professional readiness, equipping young participants with skills directly relevant to the emerging workforce needs in Bhutan. The third cohort of the Pelsung programme comprised 309 young Bhutanese, including 168 men and 141 women, predominantly in their twenties. Participants were grouped into five specialized mini-cohorts, each tailored to address specific workforce demands in GMC and the 10X Bhutan initiative:

• Innovate with GMC: Bringing together 180 participants focused on entrepreneurship and venture development.
• GMC Corporate Services: Engaging 52 participants in corporate registration, taxation, and business support.
• Tech Partnership with SELISE: Training 42 participants in software development and digital systems.
• Compliance Specialists: 21 participants learning financial regulation and fintech requirements.
• Urban Design Collaboration with SHMA: 14 participants exploring landscape architecture and public-space design.

The Pelsung programme has already produced notable outcomes, with the 'Innovate with GMC' cohort generating 41 project ideas. These ideas are being refined and supported by a network of learning facilitators and mentors. Meanwhile, the technology partnership with SELISE has resulted in the development of four digital products, including the GMC Services Directory and the Pelsung Project Catalogue.
